Fall Colors

It's sad summer will be ending soon but fall will make a beautiful entrance fashion wise with fabulous prints, warm colors, soft and cozy fabrics along with gorgeous elaborated leather pieces.

In my country it's hot all year round (at least on the city) but I will be moving to Barcelona in 2 weeks!! So, I couldn't be more excited to welcome Fall once again. I leave you with my fave designs for fall.

Spanish: Es muy triste que el verano ya vaya a acabar pronto pero el otoño hara una entrada triunfal, en cuanto a moda se refiere. Bellos estampados, colores calidos, telas suaves y comodas, y bellas piezas de cuero elaborado.

En mi país es caliente todo el año (por lo menos en la ciudad) pero en 2 semanas me mudare a Barcelona, asi que no puedo estar más emocionada de darle la bienvenida al otoño una vez más. Aqui los dejo con mis diseños favoritos para el otoño.

Weekend of Peace

Sorry for the lack of posting this weekend but I was on the inner side of the country where the Internet is no good. I was being host of the semifinals for one of the most beautiful competitions that are celebrated in Panama, an oratory contest, where students are judge by their eloquence and intellect. Every little town in Panama choose a winner and then all the winners gather together on the gran finale where they can win up to 250,000 dollars on prizes! You can see more here.

And since I was there with my family we took advantage of time and visit our house in the mountains so it was very relaxing. I have to say that one of the things that make me the happiest is to play with little calfs, they are the cutest!!

According to many sources on the fashion world, in this case Vogue UK, rumor has it that Marc Jacobs is on the top of the list to be the next creative director of Dior. What do you think, which will be your option to replace the fabulous Galliano, and take Dior to new era?

Uniqlo and their Visual Paradise

On my last trip to New York I discovered Uniqlo, a Japanese retail store that sells casual clothing. When I enter it felt like the visual merchandising paradise, I couldn't believe how much work was put into it, and in a way I was glad I didn't had the hard work of opening that huge monster store. I attached some pics so you enjoy the beauties of the visual merchandising.

Spanish: En mi ultima visita a Nueva York descubri Uniqlo, una tienda de origen Japones que vende ropa casual. Cuando entre me senti como en el Disney World del Visual Merchandising o Escaparates. No podia creer cuanto trabajo fue puesto en una sola tienda y por un lado estaba aliviada que no fue mi trabajo abrir tremendo mounstro de tienda. Les adjunte ciertas fotos para que disfruten de este arte de tienda.

Trend Alert: The Moon Boots

The moon boots are said to be the next big thing, few years ago  I will never consider them unless I was on a snowy place skying. But now I have seen designers come with beautiful balance and sober designs, I will love to have a pair.

Will you be wearing this trend? I think I will, if I get to find the perfect ones (great fit, comfortable, and great price).

Spanish: Las botas de luna o "moon boots" prometen ser la proxima tendencia de moda. Hace un par de años solo las hubiera considerado para estar en un lugar con nieve. Pero ahora que he visto a diseñadores hacer bellos y sobrios diseños, me gustarìa un par.

Que me dices, usaras esta tendencia? Yo creo que yo si, siempre y cuando encuentre el par perfecto (comodo, buen talle, y buen precio).

1. I love yoga and meditation. If I could go to India like Eat Love and Pray I will

2. I love the feeling of starting fresh again. Like breaking with a boy, moving town, giving all your clothes, quitting a job, etc. (every ends brings a lovely beginning)

3. I was a vegetarian for two years now I'm pescatorian (eat seafood only) on some days

4.I like to listen to opera when I cook

5. My family is my treasure

6. I didn't wanted to get married until I had a bad airplane experience (from that day on I want to marry and have kids in a far future)

7. If I get to retire in a future I will have a little restaurant in Santa Catalina. A gorgeous beach in Panama far away from the city.

Furry Fall

I have seen so much fur for this fall, it looks so chic and elegant. Personally, I wouldn't wear real fur I prefer the fake one but that's just my personal opinion. Either way, I hope you like this inspirational pics.
